This Sealey 24L direct drive air compressor kit is a versatile workshop addition suitable for various applications. With a robust 2-horsepower motor and 24-litre tank capacity, this unit delivers a reliable compressed air supply for general workshop tasks.
This air compressor's core is a 2hp induction motor with direct drive coupling to the pump head. This provides quiet yet reliable operation. The cylinder components are engineered for durability, with an aluminium head to resist corrosion and a cast iron cylinder to prevent wear. At maximum speed, the pump delivers 6.8cfm air displacement and 4.6cfm free air delivery. This enables the compressor to reach a maximum pressure of 116psi, suitable for most workshop pneumatic tools.
Several well-designed features make this Sealey electric air compressor safe and convenient to use. The 24-litre receiver tank is precision welded to meet Pressure Vessel Directive standards. Automatic pressure cut-out prevents operation above the maximum rating. Twin pressure gauges let the user monitor both tank and working pressures. The kit includes a 5-metre hose and 4 air accessories to support common tasks like spray painting, tyre inflation and surface cleaning straight out of the box. With a standard 3-pin plug fitting, the Sealey compressor can be easily connected and ready for workshop use.
