The Zip Water InLine CEX-O is an innovative, electronically controlled instantaneous water heater that delivers hot water instantly, on demand. Using advanced bare wire technology, the CEX-O heats water as it flows through the system, removing the need for a storage tank. This over-sink water heater provides an energy efficient solution for domestic and light commercial applications.
This oversink water heater utilises an exposed bare wire heating element to achieve rapid heat uptimes. As soon as the water flow is activated, the heating element warms the water directly as it passes over the wire. This achieves near-instantaneous heating while also keeping standing losses to an absolute minimum. The CEX-O is over 90% energy efficient, providing significant savings compared to traditional stored water heaters.
With its compact and slimline design, this unit can be conveniently installed above or below the sink. The electronically controlled 6.6-8.8kW heating system caters for both single and multi-outlet installations. Incoming mains cold water supply pressure must be a minimum of 2 bar. The CEX-O has a 1⁄2 inch BSP water connection and WRAS approval for use in domestic settings. It is ideal for kitchen, bathroom, and utility room installations.
